It is notmuch different from your cost. Just calulate 10% more expense because you will definitely need gas to drive and you will need places to stay. So considering that you already know the general costs of motels, the actual final bill depends on your spending power. Some people like me, for example buy more when I am on holidays whether I am driving, taking the train or the plane. Make a budjet and stick to it. Also, since you have the car, you can actually travel with things like a small kettle and some tin stuff that you like. Buy fresh fruit whereever you stop and you can do your own little shopping so you don't have to eat in the restaurant three times a day. its a lovely trip from Sydney to Brisbaine. You are choosing a great time to do it too. Usually very good weather conditions at this time.

Spent Euro4000(AUD 6600) in 2wks

But could do it for next to nothing, depends mainly on what accomodation you're looking at
to live on the gold coast is really expenisive small backyards mostly huge houses tho, rent is high and so is to buy a house really expensive, but to stay i am not really i just live here never stayed in hotels lol
